A patent revolutionises the fastening of shoes!

Sammi Export presents a new invention, the result of years of research and design. It is a system which revolutionises the concept of the application of drawcords on footwear and resolves the problems accentuated by other systems of interchangeable hooks. In fact, the present systems are not able to give an effective answer to the market’s request both due to the difficulty in the removal of the hook from the shoe for which specific tools are needed, and for the difficulty the customers find in their application, as well as for the large sizes of the drawcords necessary for the pairings studied and for the complexity the footwear factories find in applying them with automatic machines. On the other hand, the patented Soyuz system is made up of a standard part, the same for all kinds of drawcords, applied on the upper part of the shoe like a normal rivet with automatic riveters. The drawcord, chosen from a large range of different kinds and finishes, is positioned on this part on the finished shoe without using any other tool. The footwear factory can thus simplify the various manufacturing processes during the production of the shoes and stock them without the drawcords, completing them later according to the requests from the various markets. The end customer, in turn, can then customize the shoes substituting the drawcords with an extremely simple operation and without using any tool, choosing from the various kinds and finishes found in the shop, according to personal tastes. The drawcords are easy to remove and this helps to improve maintenance, especially in working footwear or those used for free time activities, where the single drawcord can be cleaned very carefully from any grit or other material gathered inside it using a pipe cleaner, giving shoestrings a longer life and improving smoothness of movement.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS:

To mount the hook, insert it on the base applied to the upper part of the shoe, aligning the internal shapes.	Lightly push downwards to press the rubber washer.	Turn the hook 90°, bringing the point towards the fastening.

Run the shoestring normally.	To take off the hooks, draw out the shoestring and follow the assembly instructions in the opposite way.
