INTERCHANGEABLE HOOKS: SOYUZ SYSTEM

Following the request for an easy substitution of drawcords on footwear even by the end customer, Sammi Export presents a new invention, the result of years of research, which revolutionises the concept of the application of drawcords on footwear. The patented Soyuz system is made up of a standard part, the same for all kinds of drawcords, applied on the upper part of the shoe with automatic riveters like a normal rivet. The drawcord, chosen from a large range of different kinds and finishes, is positioned on this part on the finished shoe without using any other tool. The footwear factory can thus simplify the various manufacturing processes during the production of the shoes and stock them without the drawcords, completing them later according to the requests from the various markets. The end customer, in turn, can then customize the shoes substituting the drawcords with an extremely simple operation and without using any tool, choosing from the various kinds and finishes found in the shop, according to personal tastes. The drawcords are easy to remove and this helps to improve maintenance, especially in working footwear or those used for free time activities, where the single drawcord can be easily cleaned from any grit or other material gathered inside it, giving shoestrings a longer life and improving smoothness of movement.

Tuscania, thanks to its particuar structure (covered by patent), fully satisfies the pressing demands of technical footwear manufacturers, to combine feed-through and open-mouth in a single product. Throughout the years there have been many attempts to capture these characteristics in a single element. After growing through a lenghty design process, Sammi Export succedeed in creating this new article that offers a sure and reliable response to this demand. The lack of bits that stick out or overhang, make it also fit for use in the military-sport field like, for example, in footwear for parachuting.

An ultra new solution for laces is on its way from Sammi Export. The 0-70A6/00 hook uses a pulley system to guide laces into a position where they are not subject to wear and tear. The careful production methods and the extreme precision of the assembly create a product with extremely high quality characteristics. The design is suitable for highly technical trekking footwear and can also be used in extreme climate conditions such as high altitudes.
